Creamy Vanilla Sauce Recipe

This creamy vanilla sauce recipe is made from eggs, butter, sugar, and milk. Serve this vanilla dessert sauce over ice cream, bread pudding, or a fruit cobbler.

Here is an easy and delicious vanilla dessert sauce recipe to make at home. It is extra rich and creamy because of the eggs and butter.

This dessert sauce tastes wonderful drizzled over pudding, crepes, eclairs, poached pears, pound cake, bread pudding, pie or just about any other dessert.

Apple Cobbler



Creamy Vanilla Sauce

3/4 cup sugar

1/8 teaspoon salt

1/3 cup flour

2 eggs

2 Tablespoons butter

2 Cups milk

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan, adding the milk slowly. Cook over a medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick and smooth. Cool and serve.

Makes about 2 cups.
