Chocolate Pecan Sauce
A chocolate pecan sauce recipe made with chocolate chips, cream, butter, vanilla and ground pecans. Serve this chocolate sauce over ice cream or your favorite dessert. Smooth milk chocolate and finely ground pecans make a wonderful sweet and salty combo together in a dessert sauce. Chocolate Pecan Sauce Recipe
1 cup milk chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate chips1/2 cup light corn syrup 1/4 cup heavy cream 1 Tablespoon butter 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/3 cup ground pecans (see below) Combine the chocolate chips and corn syrup in a small sauce pan over a low heat, stirring constantly until the chips are fully melted. Remove from heat. Stir in the cream, butter, and vanilla until combined. Fold in the ground nuts until evenly distributed. Enjoy warm over ice cream or anywhere you want a good nutty chocolate sauce. A great recipe for the nut lover! ***Ground Pecans or Walnuts*** You can purchase ground pecans in the baking isle of your local grocery store or you can take whole pecans and process them in a blender or food processor until fine and evenly ground.
