Smooth milk chocolate and finely ground pecans make a wonderful sweet and salty combo together in a dessert sauce.
This chocolate recipe makes a delicious ice cream topping for those of you who are crazy about the great combination of chocolate and pecans!

1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 Tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup ground pecans (see below)
Combine the chocolate chips and corn syrup in a small sauce pan over a low heat, stirring constantly until the chips are fully melted. Remove from heat.
Stir in the cream, butter, and vanilla until combined. Fold in the ground nuts until evenly distributed. Enjoy warm over ice cream or anywhere you want a good nutty chocolate sauce.

You can purchase ground pecans in the baking isle of your local grocery store or you can take whole pecans and process them in a blender or food processor until fine and evenly ground.
